LABOR DAY WEEKEND 2005

We are on the road again with a stop at our good friends the Jags on the Manistee River and the Ritchie’s old old old friends from High School. The weekend was wonderfully restfull with the guys trying their hand at Golf and all of us doing odd chores around the Jags place and then canoeing and kayaking down the river for a couple of hours. Evenings were spent playing the Mexican Train Game. Simple stuff, but most relaxing and enjoyable with these friends.

On another note our friends that we spent time with in New Orleans came through pretty much unscathed however neighbors and others nearby suffered a lot of tree damage and broken windows from “ Katrina “.

We, as everyone, hope that recovery comes soon to all.
